This product was very easy to use. It is easily placed and does not move once placed.
Perfect way to mount your Nuvi January 9, 2009
I bought this along with my Nuvi. It is a lot better than a suction cup mount in that it is completely portable. It sits nicely on the dashboard right where you put it without any slipping or sliding. It will sit on an uneven surface nicely. I have never seen it slip even a slight bit. It's nice to be able to have it over on the driver's side when I'm alone but when there is a passenger, it is nice to be able to easily put it on the passenger side and let them navigate. Also, there are a few states now where it is illegal to use a suction cup mount on your windshield. It's good to not need to check on that before we travel into other states.

I really like the dashboard mount. It has yet to move or slide at all when I'm driving, and it's so convenient to move from car to car, or just to hide under the seat when I'm parked. I also love that I don't have a big mark on my windshield anymore. I don't love how big it is, given the much smaller size of the windshield suction cup, but the portability and easy of use makes it well worth it.

I really liked this product and found it to be very useful. I can store it in my cars glove box along with my GPS and do not have to worry about carrying it back and forth from home. Its very stable and its easy to view the GPS. It seems a little expensive for the basic design and weight. But I am not complaining.

Every Garmin should come with this base and not the suction cup. Easy to move from one car to another. Also the passenger can easily move the GPS to program. Especially good for short people who have trouble reaching the GPS when mounted on window.
