| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Play all your favorite digital audio files out loud without running wires through the house with the help of the AudioCast Wireless Audio Sender & Receiver. This system incorporates 2.4 GHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology to receive your PC or MP3 player's audio signal from a distance. Setup is simple: Just plug the AudioCast receiver and transmitter into nearby wall outlets, run a cable between the receiver and your stereo's auxiliary or tape input, and connect your audio device to the transmitter through its headphone jack. Within seconds, you'll have complete access to your entire digital music collection, with no long wires to unroll or programming to master. Even better, you can connect up to two receivers to each AudioCast transmitter, letting you create two distinct music zones in your home. And for people with particularly large homes, it's even possible to run a single audio signal through two AudioCast transmitters at the same time, in effect turning your home into a four-zone system with each zone playing the same music. The real star of the AudioCast system, however, is the wireless FHSS technology. For years, wireless solutions have been plagued with outside interference from other products using the crowded 2.4 GHz band. The Soundcast engineering team, by contrast, refined the AudioCast's wireless technology to the point where neither the microwave nor the cordless phone will affect the quality of the listening experience. No buzzes, no dropouts, and no distortion--just pure, clean sound. Other details include a full wireless line-of-sight range of 350 feet (150 feet through walls and doors), support for PCs and Macs (including the iTunes audio format), and a sleek black housing. What's in the BoxAudioCast transmitter, AudioCast receiver, two AC/DC adapters, two 3.5 mm mini-to- mini cables, two 3.5 mini-to-RCA cables, RCA-to-RCA cable, 3.5 mm mini gender adapter, user's manual.
