I was disappointed this product didn't work out, but it didn't conform to my dashboard to allow mounting the GPS. The beanbag material is the cushion surrounding the base. The bottom is rigid, making it usable only on a relatively flat section of your dashboard, and at a spot where there is sufficient height to allow windshield clearance. It seems to me suited for SUV's or larger vehicles. I had to return it.

This is a very handy holder for a GPS. It has enough weight to keep it in place either on your seat or dashboard. It came with a hanger for the dash, but I believe the item is too heavy for it to stay adhered to the dash very long. Great product.

We have used this mount a couple of times. It is heavy enough, so the unit does not slide around on the dash. The flatter the area the mount sits on, the better it works. Sometimes it's hard to find a flat place to sit the mount on the dash. The only complaint we have is the mount is really bulky. But, I imagine it has to be this way, so there is enough room inside the unit for material to be added, used to weight it down, so it won't move on the dash when operating the vehicle.

The suction cup doesn't stick to the beanbag mount. Can't figure out how to use the GPS system when I can't get it to stay on the mount.

I was expecting a flexible mount that would sink into a little well I have on the dash in my 2006 Civic. However, this thing is NOT flexible at all! There is a piece of plastic that covers the whole bottom which keeps it very rigid. Calling this a beanbag mount is very misleading in my opinion.
