Not Again! October 12, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
About a year ago, I bought Apple's $50 cable to connect my iPod to a TV - worked fine. Unfortunately, it does not work with the Touch or 3G iPhone. Guess what? Now I have to spend another $50 for the new, improved cable.
I don't think so.
It does work! October 11, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
1) It's too expensive for what you get! 2) The AV connectors are cool looking and solid, but hard to pull off since they're so narrow and sleek. 3) Make sure that if you're going to hook the Audio cables to a receiver and the Video cable to the TV that they're close together, otherwise you're going to need extension cables. 4) I didn't realize this till buying the cables, but when you download a movie from iTunes, it chops the sides off. For example, I bought Ironman, but the title when displayed on a wide screen tv (no matter what aspect I chose) was "ronman". Not the cables fault, but didn't realize that till bought the cables. 5) If you're going to use the cables along with the charger, make sure there's a plug outlet close enough, otherwise, once again, you're going to need an extension cord.
Works like a charm September 6, 2008 I'm no rocket scientist, and have come very late to the ipod, but this connector and recharger works like a charm for me. I play my tunes perfectly through my Bose radio. Sounds great.
Works as advertised. August 26, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Have no problems with this like some others do. Connects and removes from the TV easily. The only negative is probably the high price but I guess that's what you can expect from Apple. Overall an outstanding product.
unfortunate must August 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
the product does what it says it will do, and it had better for $50 odd dollars, however, the prongs are VERY tight once inserted into the television and therefore VERY difficult to remove carefully. I would suggest not inserting them completely. They work fine just sitting in a bit and then you wont have to pull on the cables so hard to disconnect them.
