I ordered 2 of these for our 2 boys for Christmas. One is 6 yrs and the other is 4 yrs old. They have truly loved this gift. Our reason for getting them was for them to use in the car on trips and such, but they haven't even made it to the cars yet. They charge quickly. The battery lasts as long as LG states (approx. 3.5 hrs). We would recommend this product. Reasonable price and good quality.
 Works great except for CDs December 29, 2008
It looks great and work pretty well for DVDs. CDs doesnt work at all, i have tried with many CDs.

I bought this for my 5 year-old nephew and it's perfect for traveling and keeping him occupied when we're out and about.

We have a 2 1/2 year old that has taken this DVD player on many many road trips and plane flights. The quality is amazing. This dvd player has been dropped, thrown and had food/drinks spilled on it and has held up better than we could have expected. I am very impressed with the picture quality and sound quality this dvdplayer has to offer. would purchase this one again without a doubt.

This is my first portable DVD player-- I have resisted this particular gadget for a while now, but a really good deal at Amazon pushed me over the edge. I am VERY suprised and pleased with the picture quality as well as extra features mentioned by other reviewers here. The sound quality is fine, to me, and a headset would cover situations where external noise is a problem. This is a neat little gadget which I am sure I will enjoy for a while to come. Can't imagine getting a whole lot more for more $$$$.
