 Not strong enough for the pro cinema 1000 monitors December 27, 2008
I'll be returning mine because they are not strong enough for the pro cinema 1000..Not even close. The description should include this information

I wasn't sure these would be strong enough to support the Def. Tech. Pro Monitor 800 speakers I bought because I used the mounting holes on the bottom of the speakers so they go straight out from the wall. That way I could angle them down to the couch under them. I tightened the ball joint coupler with a little help form a slip-loc pliers and they haven't moved a bit. Make sure you can screw into a stud in the wall though.
