Amazon.com Product Description If you want to enjoy stereo and surround sound to its fullest, it's important to install your speakers at the proper listening height. That's where these Atlantic speaker stands come into play. Each of the two cast-iron stands is adjustable from 27 inches to 48 inches, giving listeners an array of heights from which to choose. Merely install your satellite or surround speaker on the platform and experiment with your favorite music and movies. The stands aren't built for bulk--they support up to 2 pounds each--so users should take care to use them only for lightweight speakers. The hidden-wire design, however, is a definite bonus, as it conceals the unsightly speaker cable within the poles. In addition, the stands' titanium finish adds a sleek touch to a room's décor. The stands measure 10.5 by 50 by 11.75 inches (W x H x D) each, which includes the brawny base, and weigh 11.75 pounds. Atlantic covers the stands with a limited lifetime warranty.

Great Value! January 7, 2009 The stands are great. Very sturdy and they look good. Easy to assemble and easy to position. I highly recommend these stands for anyone who is looking to purchase good speaker stands at a decent price.
Cheap and not bad at all December 12, 2008 These stands look OK, they work, and they weren't ridiculously expensive. That was all I wanted. I had to play around with the assembly a bit because my speakers are not standard, but I got them on eventually. Definitely a good buy for 30 to 40 bucks. I do not regret my purchase.
Your last stand November 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Over the last four years I have had three different Home Theatre systems - well, two theater systems and an executive micro system - but only this set of stands. My first pair was purchased from a local mass market merchandiser in a matte gray finish but when I needed another set that store no longer carried them. I chose to sit the speakers on the floor rather than pay top dollar for another brand until I happened to find them here. With consideration to price, quality of construction and utility, it is not likely you will find many competitive products as durable and cost efficient.
The telescoping support pole can be extended from just over two feet to about 4 feet. The "L" shaped rear speaker support bracket is a wired prong that facilitates variable locations of mounting holes on the rear of speaker cases. It works best for speakers two pounds or less with flat rear panels and flat square bases but for all three speaker sets I have used, with a little thought and adaptability, it was pretty easy to come up with alternative methods to secure and stabilize. One set of speakers I mounted (with creative use of matching duct tape) was appreciably heavier. Over time, the supplied double stick foam may lose adhesiveness but the speaker platform support has four pre-drilled screw holes if one wants to firmly secure the speaker. I have found using the rear bracket alone sufficient. The triangular shaped base works well with most floor surfaces and the hollow tube construction assists in controlling that mess of wires leading from the receiver. These stands might be inexpensive, but they are absolutely of top quality.
Perfect Speaker Stands November 17, 2008 These are the perfect and ONLY speaker stands to buy. Yes we bought the universal ones from Wal-Mart, Didn't work.. then we bought them from Best Buy... Didn't work... Finally we found the PERFECT ones where else but Amazon.com! Thanks So much for completing our surround sound setup!!!
Good Stands August 29, 2008 I got these not too long ago for my Infinity rear satellite speakers and they're fine. Not a whole to say about speaker stands..
Pros: Easy to set up, nice wire concealing, sturdy and heavy
Cons: The feet are a bit larger than I would think necessary and prohibit them from being placed in tight spots
