The functionality, meanwhile, stems from the quartet of foghorn options and the variety of available bells, whistles, horns, and sirens, giving users access to a sound for virtually every navigational situation. Want to transmit a voice message to other boats through the PA? Not a problem. Owners have two mounting choices: a bracket mount (the unit comes with brackets and knobs), or an optional bulkhead flush mount that requires a separately sold MMB-84 kit. Once installed, users can choose to transmit out of either the forward or aft output--depending on where other boats are located--or they can transmit out of both simultaneously for wider foghorn coverage.
